The combination of face-to-face training and teleclasses gives you
the best of both worlds. In the face-to-face training you get
to connect strongly with your new community of coaches, and motivate
yourself for the road ahead. And - you get to save some travel and 'away
from home time' by taking a large part of the training via a proven
teleclass (teleconferencing) platform. The training involves four in-person,
interactive 2- and 3-day weekend courses and one 19-week teleconference course. Course location is mainly Seattle, Washington,
but sometimes Orange County, California and Toronto, Canada.
The only disadvantage I can find with this course is the travel required.
If you live outside Seattle, Orange County or Toronto you'll need to
factor travel into your budget. Then again, if you're a face-to-face
kind of person, you'll probably have to travel no matter which course
you do.
Students of this school would join because they love the strong coaching
community, strong name recognition in the coaching industry, and above
all, the quality of the training. Also, if you're in the US or Canada
and have a strong leaning towards face to face training with an ICF
accredited course, then this is probably a really easy decision for
you - they just don't have much competition in this niche.
